If you dream of a sea with character and you seek for quiet and peace on the seaside, Villaputzu coastline is the one you should go for.

It is peacetime even in the busiest beach, and you need to be there to believe it! At Porto Corallo, only 6km from the Agriturismo, the breeze blowing whispers to the sun-umbrellas made of straws. Or maybe you would rather get wild on a desolated beach? Just 8km away you reach the unspoilt Murtas beach, where the sound of the waves crashing on the rocks and pebbled shoreline is the strongest you can hear.

Busier but also fascinating, are the close by Muravera beach, 10km away. Not to be missed are the Cala Pira and Cala Sinzias in Costa Rey, where the sea changes its turquoise colour shade every hour. With only half hour more from Costa Rey, you can reach the busier and cloudier Villasimius.

Nearby there are plenty of archeological sites such as Domus de Janas, Nuraghes, Preistoric Holy Temples, as well as Historical witness sites of unique value as Romanic Church of San Nicola, The Quirra Castle ruins, the Baccu Locci abandoned mines and numerous coastal towers.

Cagliari city, 70km away, won’t disappoint the tourists curiosity: Romans ruins doubly bound up with the history of unified Italy, as testified by the monuments characterizing the city. You won’t regret a visit to the San Benedetto fish market open every morning.
